The Board did not receive comment on the above rules. The Board has completed its review and has determined that the reasons for originally adopting the above rules continue to exist. The rules were also reviewed to determine whether they were obsolete, whether they reflected current legal and policy considerations and current procedures and practices of the Board, and whether they were in compliance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2001 (Texas Administrative Procedure Act). The Board finds that the rules are not obsolete, reflect current legal and policy considerations, current procedures and practices of the Board, and that the rules are in compliance with the Texas Administrative Procedure Act.
The Board readopts the rules in Chapters 220, 223, 224, and 226 without changes, pursuant to the Texas Government Code §2001.039 and Texas Occupations Code §301.151, which authorizes the Board to adopt, enforce, and repeal rules consistent with its legislative authority under the Nursing Practice Act. This concludes the rule review of Chapter 220, 223, 224, and 226 under the 2022 rule review plan adopted by the Board.

The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) filed a Notice of Intent to Review to consider for readoption, revision, or repeal the rules at Chapter 361 (Administration), in their entirety, under Title 22, Part 17, of the Texas Administrative Code (TAC). This review was conducted in accordance with Texas Government Code §2001.039.
The Notice of the proposed rule review was published in the July 8, 2022, issue of the Texas Register (47 TexReg 3987).
No comments were received in response to this notice.
Review and Recommendation
The Board reviewed each of the rules in Chapter 361 and has determined that the reasons for adopting or readopting the rules in this chapter continue to exist. The rules are still essential in implementing Chapter 1301 of the Texas Occupations Code (the Plumbing License Law or the PLL.) The rules provide details that are not found in the PLL but are necessary for implementation and operation of the program.
The Board may propose amendments in the future to update, clarify, or supplement the existing rules. Any proposed changes to the rules will be published in the Proposed Rules section of the Texas Register and will be open for public comment before final adoption by TSBPE in accordance with the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 2001.
Board Action
At its meeting on May 2, 2024, the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners readopted 22 TAC, Part 17, Chapter 361, in its entirety and in its current form. This concludes the review of Chapter 361 in accordance with Texas Government Code §2001.039.

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) adopts the review of the chapter below in Title 26, Part 1, of the Texas Administrative Code (TAC):
Chapter 747, Minimum Standards for Child-Care Homes
Notice of the review of this chapter was published in the March 22, 2024, issue of the Texas Register (49 TexReg 1975). HHSC received no comments concerning this chapter.
HHSC has reviewed Chapter 747 in accordance with Texas Government Code §2001.039, which requires state agencies to assess, every four years, whether the initial reasons for adopting a rule continue to exist. The agency determined that the original reasons for adopting all rules in the chapter continue to exist and readopts Chapter 747. Any amendments to Chapter 747 identified by HHSC in the rule review will be proposed in a future issue of the Texas Register.
This concludes HHSC's review of 26 TAC Chapter 747 as required by the Texas Government Code §2001.039.

The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) has completed its review of Chapter 800, General Administration, in accordance with Texas Government Code §2001.039. The notice of intent to review the rules was published in the March 29, 2024, issue of the Texas Register (49 TexReg 2098).
The comment period ended on April 29, 2024. TWC did not receive any comments on the proposed rule review.
TWC assessed whether the reasons for adopting the rules in Chapter 800 continue to exist. TWC finds that the rules in the chapter are needed, reflect current legal and policy considerations, and reflect current TWC procedures. The reasons for adopting the rules continue to exist. TWC, therefore, readopts the rules in Chapter 800, General Administration.
